Milner Martin is a professional children’s theater director. He was born and raised in the family-owned touring theatre company, The Baillie Players. As a result, Milner has performed in over 1,600 1-act shows at various schools, country clubs, and retirement centers across the southeast of the United States under the company.
Milner is also the House Manager at his father’s theatre, The Inman Theatre, Inc. There, he has directed many ICT Drama Camps, starred in several productions, assisted backstage, operated spotlight, operated soundboard, and managed the house for various different performances and drama camps.
He has obtained a degree in theatre with an emphasis on design from a year and a half at Piedmont College, and the remaining time at North Greenville University.
Milner Martin is currently keeping The Baillie Players alive by taking over the touring and production aspect of the company. He also still volunteers at The Inman Theatre to this day. On top of that, he has created his own script rental company with his friend from college, Evan Hamlin. This company is known as “MartHam Productions.” Under this name, Milner & Evan write scripts & music for completely original 1-act shows to be rented by the public for performance at a very low price. The goal behind MartHam Productions is to produce quality performances to rent at a reasonable budget. So far, they have released “HomeSquad: The Musical,” a 1-act 45 minute musical comedy. Currently, they are working on two more projects: “Mutts: The Musical!” and “Evil Academy – The Musical.”
